Sadly I have realized tonight that I missed the boat. Next year was to be my year. The year I won American Idol. I would have auditioned with Bon Jovi's Dead or Alive. I would have rocked the Ford commercials. I would have basically just been awesome. Sad. Truly sad. I am now too old.

Maybe if you gave them a great sob story they'll let you in. It has to be a good story and bring Cooper with you when you go to tell it. He can soften the judges up for you.
